Tragischer Unfall auf der Autobahn. Der US-Schauspieler Paul Walker ("Fast and Furious") ist tot. Der 40-Jährige kam am Samstag bei einem Autounfall auf dem Weg zu einer Wohltätigkeitsveranstaltung ums Leben, wie seine Presseagentur auf Walkers Facebook-Seite bekanntgab. "Er war Beifahrer im Wagen eines Freundes, und beide haben ihr Leben verloren", hieß es in der mit dem Kürzel "Team PW".

Nach Polizeiangaben stand der rote Porsche Carrera GT in Flammen, als Beamte an den Unfallort kamen. Die beiden Insassen waren bereits tot. Offenbar krachte das Auto erst in einen Laternenmast, dann in einen Baum - der Wagen wurde dabei vollständig zerstört. Laut Polizei habe die Geschwindkeit bei dem Unfall eine Rolle gespielt.
